The Super Bowl is one of the biggest and greatest American traditions. But what’s more bigger and brighter, is it’s widely anticipated Half Time Show. Featuring all time great Bruce Springsteen and the E-street band playing on the field in this season’s Superbowl 43 Halftime Show, the rafters were literally littered with cheers, chants, and fans singing along with them. The Super Bowl halftime show is yearly the most-viewed entertainment presentation. More than 148 million spectators in the country alone were watching last year’s spectacle.
Who knows how much viewers are watching this season’s Super Bowl 2009? Literally hundreds if not, thousands of Super Bowl fans anticipate the Half-time show more than the game itself. Previous half-time performers Prince, Sir Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, and The rolling Stones have all exclaimed that performing for the halftime is a one of a lifetime opportunity. But some believe, including me, that Bruce Springsteen’s one of a lifetime performance in Super Bowl 43 Half Time Show, is the most anticipated performance for all time.
